Les dimensions sociales et politiques du “care”

Résumé : Le « care » renvoie à une responsabilité pour autrui. Il se traduit par « sollicitude », « attention » ou « prendre soin ». Si les aspects éthiques de cette notion sont évidents, les dimensions sociales et politiques font controverses. Le langage du care en déplaçant l’analyse vers la sphère relationnelle et privée conduirait à une « captation libérale du soin ». D’autres, partant de la vulnérabilité commune à tous les humains, insistent sur les apports constructeurs du care pour faire société autrement.
